How many merchants and offers do you have? Where can I see your Merchant list?

Merci has about 500 restaurants, coffee shops, bars and nightclubs offering more than 1500 offers on food (appetizers, main courses, combos, formulas and desserts), beverage (drinks and bottles) and Arguileh. In order to see the list of outlets or if your favorite place is in the application, we suggest that you download the application and set up your account. If you do that, you will get a free trial to start saving immediately!

How much does the subscription cost?

As a launch price, we have a special package where you can get more than 2000 offers worth more than 20,000 USD for only 85 USD. The package is valid for one year and you can’t carry over any unused offers. Please note that the package is not refundable. How long is a subscription valid for?

A subscription is valid from 1st Jan to 31st Dec of the year regardless of when you purchase it

Do you need internet to redeem the offers?

Yes, an internet connection is required to redeem the offers

Do I have to verify my email address?

No you don't. However, if you have a wrong email, you won't be able to retrieve a forgotten password

When can I use Merci Lebanon? How many offers can I redeem?

Here are the rules of use for the Merci Lebanon Application:

1. Merci App offers can’t be used in addition to other discounts offered by the outlet

2. Offers can be used any time of the day on any day except public holidays and special occasions (e.g., Valentine’s day)

3. Number of offers of the same type to be used once during the outlet visit:

  • a) 1 Customer: 1 Offer
  • b) 2 Customers: 1 Offer
  • c) 3 Customers: 2 Offers
  • d) 4 Customers: 2 Offers
  • e) 5+ Customers: 3 Offers

As an example, if you go alone to the outlet, you can use 1 “Main Course” offer and 1 “Drinks” offer at the same time but you can’t use 2 “Main Course” offers at the same time (you need to be 3 people). However, you could visit the outlet 2 times and use 1 offer each time

Can I use the offers for delivery?

Delivery is part of Merci. Please call the outlet and ask if delivery is an option. If it is an option, mention that you will be using Merci. The delivery person will come with a discounted bill and will enter the PIN to redeem the offer. It is as simple as that!

Do I get to try the application for free?

As soon as you create a new account on Merci Lebanon, you are eligible for a free trial. This means that you can redeem any offer from any outlet for free! And guess what? There is no time limit to redeem this offer!

Please note that, in case the free trial is not available, it means that either:

  • 1. You are using a phone number that was already used before to redeem a free trial
  • 2. You purchased a subscription, in which case you are not eligible for a free trial anymore
Can I share the application with my friends?

Unfortunately, sharing the application among friends or family is not an option. You would have to be physically present so the merchant enters the redemption PIN. Please note the following:

  • 1. In case two persons open the app simultaneously, the second person will not be able to access his/her account
  • 2. In case you would like to redeem an offer from a device that is not the device registered with us, you can do so. You will get a screen with a warning signal. In case you click “Yes”, you will be able to redeem from the new device - however, you will have to wait for 2 weeks if you want to change your device back to any other device
How can I buy a subscription?

Here is the process to buy a subscription:

1. Buy using a Coupon (a special number given by our sales) :

  • a) On the side menu in the app select “Buy with Coupon”
  • b) Enter the coupon number

2. Buy with or without promocode:

  • a) On the side menu in the app select "Buy a Subscription"
  • b) Choose the subscription you desire
  • c) Once you are in the detailed page of the subscription, verify that this is what you need (as there are no refunds) and click on the button to buy it
  • d) You will get a pop up. In case you have a promocode (which is a code that gives you a discount), click on “Yes” and enter the code
  • e) Fill in your credit card info and complete your purchase

We mostly accept credit card payment for convenience. In case of exception, please send us an email at info@mercilebanon.com

How do I redeem an offer?

Redeeming an offer is a fairly simple process:

  • 1. At the end of your meal, select the outlet you require
  • 2. Select the offer you require
  • 3. Ask the waiter to enter the PIN
  • 4. The waiter will discount the bill
How do I create an account?

Creating an account takes less than 1 minute. Here are the options:

1. Facebook option:

  • a) After you download the app, select the relevant icon
  • b) Allow access (Don’t worry the app doesn’t post on your account)
  • c) Optional (Fill in a few more details to get to know you better)
  • d) Enter your mobile number to get a PIN
  • e) Enter the PIN

2. Mail Option:

  • a) Click on "Sign up"
  • b) Fill in a few information about yourself (please ensure your email is correct as you won’t be able to retrieve your password in case of wrong email - In case you notice it is wrong, you can still change it in the profile section later on)
  • c) Enter your mobile number to get a PIN
  • d) Enter the PIN
How can I check my accumulated savings?

In order to check your savings, please click on “My savings” in the side menu. You will be able to see the savings you made this year and since you started using Merci.

Please note that there is a value associated with every offer that you redeem - this is the base to estimate your savings

How can I check what subscriptions I purchased and my redemptions?

In order to check your purchase history and redemption, please click respectively on “Purchase History” or “Redemption” on the side menu

Can I modify my phone number or email address?

In case you would like to change your email or phone number:

  • 1. Click on “Edit Profile” on the side menu
  • 2. Change your phone number or email address

Please note that in both cases, we would require you to receive and enter a 4 digit PIN to verify it is you

How can I rate a merchant and does it appear publicly? Is my info shared?

Merci gives you the option to contribute and help our merchants improve their services. For this, you are allowed to rate an outlet once every 30 days. This rating is strictly confidential and will go to the outlet as a feedback (not public). In order to rate an outlet, you have to click on the “Rate” button next to an outlet and fill all the information. Please note that if you choose to leave your details, the outlet can see those details and contact you

How do I reset my password?

In case you forgot the password, you can choose the “Forgot password” option and enter the email address associated with the account. You will receive an email to the account with a temporary password (please look in your junk mail in case you don’t receive it). Use that temporary password to log in and reset your password

Note: In case you don’t use the temporary password and log in with the password you have forgotten, the temporary password will be voided for your safety

What should I do if I did not receive a PIN to create my account?

If you don’t receive a PIN when you create your account, you have the option to resend the PIN after 30 second. Please do check that you have entered the right phone number (including country code)

Why am I not able to redeem an offer?

There are several cases where you can’t redeem an offer:

  • 1. You have already redeemed the offer (you will see “Redeemed” in red next to the offer)
  • 2. You did not purchase the package relevant to the offer you are trying to redeem (You will see a lock icon next to the offer)
  • 3. The package you have bought is either expired or have not started yet
  • 4. You have shared your application with somebody (You are getting a screen with a warning sign and you can’t proceed - in that case you have to wait up to 2 weeks or use the device associated with the app)
What should I do if my Promo code is not working?

If your promo code is not working please check the following:

  • 1. You are entering the promo code in the coupon section. Please select the option “Buy a subscription” instead
  • 2. You are entering a wrong promo code
  • 3. Your promo code is expired (please get in touch with the sales person)
  • 4. Your promo code is valid for another package (please get in touch with the sales person)
What should I do if my Coupon is not working?

If your coupon is not working please check the following:

  • 1. You are entering the coupon in the promocode section. Please select the option “Buy with Coupon” instead
  • 2. You are entering a wrong coupon
Why is my free trial is not available?

Please note that, in case the free trial is not available, it means that either:

  • 1. You are using a phone number that was already used before to redeem a free trial

What do I do if a merchant refuses to redeem an offer?

We treat breaches of agreements with our partners very seriously. In case a merchant refuses to redeem an offer, please write us an email on info@mercilebanon.com and we will look into the matter. I would recommend you look at our Rules of use as we have very few restrictions on usage (e.g. on public holidays or depending on the number of people vs the number of offers redeemed)
